We had our very first test and I felt that most of the students still need a lot of practice with reading & writing. If they don’t know all the letters & accents by heart, it will be very overwhelming and confusing as we move on to each next lesson. So it is VERY IMPORTANT that they do homework and practice daily. I did not teach the new lesson. So for this week I encourage you to help your child thoroughly review both lessons 1 & 2. Everyday: Please continue to have your child practice daily greetings “Dạ con chào Ba/Mẹ/Ông/Bà… etc”

Homework for the week of 9/14/25:
Each day before going to school and returning home, please continue to have your child practice greetings to family members:
“ Dạ con chào ba”; “ Dạ con chào mẹ”;
“ Dạ con chào ông bà”… etc.
“Dạ cám ơn” every time receiving something from someone;
“Dạ con chào Cô” & “Dạ có”, which will be used weekly in class.
Practice writing & reading all letters & words in lesson 1 (pages 7 & 8)- follow attached video.
Memorize 5 accent marks (sắc, huyền, hỏi, ngã & nặng)
Know the meaning of these words:
